The HiBy W4 can switch freely between Bluetooth receiver mode and USB audio DAC mode. Whether your source is a smartphone streaming lossless audio over Bluetooth, a laptop via USB, or a digital audio workstation, W4 provides the same flagship-level decoding and amplification—all from one compact device.

High-Resolution Bluetooth Receiver Mode

In wireless mode, the HiBy W4 supports a full suite of high-fidelity Bluetooth codecs, including aptX Adaptive, aptX Lossless, aptX HD, aptX, LDAC, AAC, and SBC. With LDAC, W4 can transmit near-lossless 24-bit / 96 kHz audio over Bluetooth, surpassing the sound quality ceiling of traditional wireless receivers. Faster pairing, stronger anti-interference performance, and enhanced stability ensure reliable playback even in complex RF environments.

USB DAC Mode – Unlock the Full Potential of Dual CS43198

Connected via USB-C, the W4’s dual CS43198 DAC chips show their full capabilities, offering higher resolution, wider soundstage, and a cleaner signal path. It supports PCM up to 32-bit / 768 kHz and DSD512, reproducing high-definition audio formats with precision. An independent Uncharge switch allows you to choose whether W4 draws power from its own internal battery or from the USB host, reducing noise from external power sources and minimizing power drain on smartphones.

Qualcomm QCC5181 & Bluetooth 5.4

The Qualcomm QCC5181 Bluetooth chipset with Bluetooth 5.4 provides faster connections, greater range, and better anti-interference performance. It supports next-generation low-energy audio features to deliver higher sound quality at similar power consumption, making it ideal for music, calls, and gaming with low latency and high stability.

Dual CS43198 DACs with 3.5 mm & 4.4 mm Outputs

The W4 uses two Cirrus Logic CS43198 HiFi DACs, decoding and amplifying left and right channels independently to greatly improve SNR and channel separation. It offers both 3.5 mm single-ended and 4.4 mm balanced outputs:

3.5 mm PO output: up to 125 mW
4.4 mm BAL output: up to 475 mW

This power is sufficient to drive a wide variety of IEMs and hybrid driver headphones with authority and control.

2-Inch Color Touchscreen UI

A 2-inch full-color touchscreen supports all UI functions—rare among portable DAC/AMPs and Bluetooth receivers. Playback control, pairing, gain, filter selection, and other settings can be managed directly by tapping and swiping on the screen, offering a highly intuitive user experience in both Bluetooth and USB DAC modes.

1500 mAh High-Capacity Battery

The internal 1500 mAh battery provides long continuous playback:

Car Audio Optimization Mode

The Car Audio Mode allows the W4 to power on and off in sync with your vehicle and automatically reconnect to your smartphone or head unit, creating a seamless lossless car audio solution.

Pair W4 with your smartphone as usual.
Enable Car Audio Optimization in the HiBy Blue app.
Connect W4’s 3.5 mm output to your car’s audio input, and its USB-C port to the car’s power source. W4 will then power on/off with the car and reconnect to your phone automatically.

Note: The cable used to connect the 3.5 mm output to the car head unit is not included.

NFC One-Touch Pairing & Microphone Support

NFC pairing enables quick Bluetooth connection with compatible smartphones via a single tap. The built-in microphone uses CVC (Clear Voice Capture) noise reduction technology to deliver clearer calls; simply press the power button to answer or end calls.
