InTime Kira Mark II (MKII) features the same low-frequency dynamic driver with a graphene coating as its predecessor. The graphene coating has the advantage of high propagation speed and is a very hard diaphragm that combines ultra-lightweight and high rigidity, suppressing unwanted vibrations while showcasing ultra-high frequency sound.
Our team has adjusted the high-frequency characteristics of the Kira Mark II, replacing the first-generation stainless steel front chamber with titanium metal, and combining it with the latest HDSS technology from TBI in the United States. The result is an impressive high-tone performance and a wide sound field, particularly for female vocals, piano, and percussion instruments such as cymbals, which are expressed with exceptional clarity.
The third-generation VST2 piezoelectric ceramic driver has a larger displacement ceramic element with excellent low hysteresis and linearity using laminated PZT piezoelectric ceramic material. The third-generation VST2 significantly improves the sensitivity of the ultra-high frequency range, creating a more natural sound with rich harmonics.
The fourth-generation HDSS® patent technology has a more efficient sound correction effect than its predecessor. The sound in the chamber does not affect the bass speaker diaphragm, resulting in a softer sound and a wider sound field with better separation. With the improved HDSS technology, the interference during playback is significantly reduced, ensuring clear high tones.
In addition to the upgraded driver and HDSS technology, the Kira, Go, and Miyabi also feature an anodized titanium alloy shell crafted by artisans from the "Tsubame-Sanjo area of Niigata Prefecture." The biggest advantage of this material is that it does not peel off and does not alter the sound of the headphones. The anodized treatment gives the headphones a noble and elegant appearance.
